This image was edited in Photoshop to enhance lighting, sharpness, and color while removing blemishes. adjustments to contrast and sharpness make the camera stand out, and touch-ups ensure a clean, polished look.

Here I used the line, pencil and shapes tools to deform rectangles, triangles, etc in order to achieve different animal shapes. Then using the color swatches I experimented with gradients and color combinations to achieve a complete look.
Photoshop
In Photoshop, I use layer masks to hide parts of an image and place text behind it or clipping masks to make an image fill text. Adjusting layers, opacity, and blending modes helps refine the effect.
